Analysing Audience Research

To find out what contents and what interests people, I created a college magazine questionnaire (reproduced at the end of this post), and got 2 boys and 2 girls to complete it. If I was really trying to do this properly, I am aware I would need lots more people to answer it, to give me more accurate results and to give me a range of answers.
Out of the four, they all said they would be interested in buying a college magazine, costing 50p-£1.00. All but one agreed that it should come out once a month, the other person would like it to come out once a week.
Both girls have a job, whereas the two boys do not. One girl gets paid £30 a day, and the other girl gets paid £4.50 an hour.
They spend their money on -

person 1; clothes, food and drink

person 3; clothes and nothing I save

person 4; clothes, movies, clubs and food and drink

They all agree that the thing they like in college is their friends and freedom. Apart from one female, who said she doesn’t like college.

Based on these results I have decided my magazine will be mainly focusing on gossip, events and a big page full of music events and information. It will include an advice section for anyone interested, and will have an events page at the end, including all college party dates and any music gigs. There will be a little part on celebrities and sports, and a side full of available jobs and how to get in touch.
